City Of Ann Arbor To Interview City Administrator Candidates Today

City of Ann Arbor

The City of Ann Arbor continues to move forward with the process of hiring a new city administrator.

City council will interview the top four finalists Thursday evening during a Zoom meeting that’s available to the public.  Ann Arbor’s current Interim City Administrator, Tom Crawford, is among the candidates being considered.  City Council Member Elizabeth Nelson from the fourth ward says the city hopes to hire a new city administrator by September.

Council Member Elizabeth Nelson: We’re going to be asking them questions about how do you prioritize the different projects that you were asked to handle? How are you going to handle a diversity of opinion on council?

Former City Administrator Howard Lazarus was fired by city council without cause in February.  For a schedule of the interviews and infomation on how to view them, click here
