Former Vice PresidentJoe Bidenheld a rally in Lansing Thursday. Biden was in town to stump for Democratic candidates.
It was something of a somber rally. Biden spoke in a hushed voice due to what he said was laryngitis. Biden held the audience’s quiet attention while speaking about the importance of service and the need to overcome violence and hatred.
But Biden was able to speak up to tell the crowd why they have to vote on Tuesday.
“We have to make it clear that we Democrats choose hope over fear.”
Republican candidates were scheduled to have a visit from President Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway. But Conway wasn’t able to come due to what party officials say was an “aircraft malfunction.”
