Public Radio stations across the country postponed or canceled their spring fundraisers because of the ongoing public health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. WEMU is part of that group, preferring to donate our time and resources to complete and in-depth coverage of these unprecedented events. You rely on NPR news and WEMU to stay informed. And we depend on your support to keep it going.
To help us reach our fundraising goals, today we have a special incentive to celebrate 55 years on the air from a local business partner. Every gift of $55 or more to WEMU gets you into a drawing to win a $200 gift card from Miss Kim, an Ann Arbor restaurant featuring Michigan-inspired Korean food.
Your donation will allow us to continue to provide you with accurate, trusted, and up-to-date news, as well as the music and programming you cherish.
You can support WEMU anytime with a financial gift online. Individual and business support are more than 60% of our operating budget, and are our most critical source of revenue.
Only 6% of WEMU’S weekly audience donate to WEMU. If you can help WEMU can raise that to number to just 10% percent, WEMU will be able to easily continue the news, jazz, blues, and Americana music that is so essential to the well-being of our community.
If you have never made a gift to WEMU, have not made one yet this year, or can make an additional gift, please do so now.
