Top General Says Time Running Out In Afghanistan

U.S. HIV Cases Top 1 Million
Some 1.1 million people are living with HIV in the United States, according to new figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In a survey of Baltimore, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City and San Francisco in the past year, 46 percent of the black men surveyed at local bars and dance clubs were HIV positive.

Pentagon officials confirm that Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, the top U.S. military commander in Iraq, will give up his command this summer. But officials deny the move is linked to allegations that Sanchez knew about abuses at the Abu Ghraib prison. Gen. George W. Casey Jr., the Army's second-ranking general, will replace Sanchez.
