NATIONWIDE EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM TEST TODAY AT 2PM !
For 30 seconds, citizens nationwide will hear and see, "this is a test" TODAY, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time during the first national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS).
The EAS test is being conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Communications Commission. THIS IS ONLY A TEST.
PLEASE NOTE: Some cable television systems will not be able to display a text message indicating that it's only a test. Be assured THIS IS ONLY A TEST!
