Art & Soul - The Culinary Arts: All About Wine From An Ann Arbor Seller
This week, Art and Soul is about the culinary arts. 89.1 WEMU’s Lisa Barry and Jessica Webster are joined by Mary Campbell, the owner of “Everyday Wines” in Ann Arbor, who shares useful information about the world of wine.
Campbell has operating Everyday Wines since 2004. In fact, November 19 officially marks 14 years (cheers!).
The shop's philosophy is that wine doesn't necessarily need a higher price or a screw cap to have a better taste. Some wines that are shipped from Europe and family vineyards can be quite affordable, all of which can be found at Everyday Wines.
The shop also believes its customers should "mix and match" their wines and food. In other words, red wine doesn't necessarily have to be served with red meat and white wine with white meat. Still, due to the changing seasons, customers have begun shifting over from white to red wine.
