EMU Working On Plan For Fall Semester Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

Eastern Michigan University

Eastern Michigan University is also developing its plans for the upcoming fall semester.

The university’s executive council, as well as its administrative team and various faculty groups, are all working to develop contingency plans and other strategies for the fall, depending on how the COVID-19 pandemic develops over the next few months.

EMU spokesman Geoff Larcom says they are taking a very thorough and vigorous approach to their planning process.

“The university is now modeling multiple scenarios for the new academic year and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students and employees is our number on priority in guiding any of these decisions,” Larcom says.

Larcom says they still have a lot of variables to consider, and EMU will share more concrete details about their plans as they become available.
