Hope Clinic In Ypsilanti Providing Fans To Local Residents
The Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti is known for providing low-income residents with food and medical assistance, but this summer, it’s offering a new service.
Executive Director Doug Campbell says the Hope Clinic has distributed hundreds of fans to local residents who don’t have air conditioning. He says the fans are in high demand because of the high temperatures we’ve been experiencing. Campbell adds that they need residents to donate fans to keep up with the demand.
Doug Campbell: We have some people bringing in the big giant ones that go into the windows to the small desk size. And then that allows folks depending on what their set-up is to choose the one that works best for them.
