Several places around Washtenaw County will be offering free food and good company to those in need this Thanksgiving. WEMU’s Ana Longoria has the story about one of those locations.

Studies show that integrated, whole person care provides better health outcomes than traditional medical practices. The Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti has provided such care for many residents who struggle with health and their finances. The Hope Clinic's behavioral health manager, Julie Payne, discusses whole-person treatment services with Rylee Barnsdale.

Ypsilanti nonprofits that are set up to help those with food insecurities are seeing an increase in the numbers looking for their assistance. On today's "On the Ground Ypsi," WEMU's Cathy Shafran and Concentrate Media's Rylee Barnsdale discuss how some of those nonprofits are working to address the increased needs with Andrea Kelly, an Eastern Michigan University grad assistant at Swoop's Food Pantry.
