On Tuesday, the state of Michigan recorded a record number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 59 fatalities. Washtenaw County's caseload is surging as well. WEMU's David Fair checked in with Washtenaw County Health Department spokesperson Susan Cerniglia to discuss the coronavirus surge, an opportunity for a cost-free flu vaccination, and how the uninsured can access help to becoming enrolled in a health plan.
