The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids' dash event! (If your childwants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)
*Register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day, to guarantee your shirt!

Annie Gao, a carillonist and software engineer from the sunny suburbs of Southern California, plays arrangements of Baroque, classical, and Romantic instrumental and vocal works, original carillon music, and popular hits on the 60-bell Lurie Carillon in Gerstacker Grove (U-M North Campus). Paid metered visitor parking is available behind the Walgreen Drama Center. Additional street parking along Bonisteel Blvd. is available after business hours, as well as parking by the E.V. Moore Building (lot NC10), the North Campus Recreation Building (lot NC44), and the Art & Architecture Building (lot NC43) (all free after 6 p.m.).

This walking tour will be led by Highland Cemetery Vice Chair Barry LaRue and Washtenaw County Historical Society President Karen Jania. Highlights will include gravesites of notable Ypsilantians and Starkweather Chapel (1889), designed by Mason and Rice, renowned architects known for the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, in the Richardsonian Romanesque Revival style, and featuring Tiffany windows. Attendees are requested to assemble at the cemetery entrance, dressed in clothing and footwear for walking outside.

Award-winning carillonist Joseph Min (New York) performs a poetic program entitled "Dancing in the Wind" on the 53-bell Charles Baird Carillon in Burton Memorial Tower. This family-friendly outdoor concert happens rain or shine. The nearest municipal parking structures are available at 324 Maynard and at 510. E Washington.

Join us for the annual Stomp Out Sarcoma 5K, a family-friendly walk/run dedicated to raising awareness and funds for sarcoma research at the University of Michigan, Rogel Cancer Center. This event brings together survivors, supporters, caregivers, physicians, and community members to honor those affected by sarcoma and support ongoing efforts to find a cure. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
