Visit the Argus Museum from August 24th to September 25th to view "What's Goin On" by Melanie Stengel. The opening reception will be September 4th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

Artist statement:

"I've always felt the best photographs are felt as much as seen. As a person with ADHD, I've been lucky to find a vehicle to follow my curiosity down a host of diverse roads. I hope my photographs evoke a sense of curiosity in others and, sometimes, empathy as well."

Images will be color, black and white, and infrared.

The Argus Museum is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Museum is not open on weekends.

The Outdoor Gallery and Sculpture Garden is open for the season! Thursdays - Saturdays, from 12-4. Free and Open to the Public. Come explore the magic of Susanne + John’s work!

This is the first session in a workshop series focusing on the natural, built and social environments. In this session, we explore what we perceive in our environments, how we treat our environment and the other living beings in it, and hold conversations about our concerns and the future we hope to create.

Concerned about Washtenaw Co's natural resources or issues related to the built environment?

Arts & Healing strives to connect individuals & build bridges across local communities by engaging in positive creative activities and exploring art as a means for discovering our common humanity, managing stress and uncertainty, and encouraging action for the common good.

If you are looking for an opportunity to express your thoughts and feelings about the natural, built and social environments, this may be a good fit for you. We strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space and sharing is invited and optional, not required.

Inspired by actual events, Echo's Fragments tells the story of the dawning of a new age of interspecies communication. Dr. Gene Leidy thinks that teaching dolphins to speak is the best way to get closer to God. Dr. Leidy is not convinced that non-human is the same as non-person and he is willing to make sacrifices, even on behalf of others to convince the world.

Starring Members of the NTG Ensemble: Graham Bennett, Cole Hunter Dzubak, Michelle Marin, Katie Palmer, Debbie Secord, and Jessica Terlep

This is the first time this script will be in front of an audience! You will be able to give feedback to the playwright so they can begin rewriting. Actors will have scripts in hand.
