Kerrytown Concert House welcomes back the formidable King-Lyman-Cheng Trio for another captivating Trios de Salon performance. This intimate chamber music experience showcases world-class musicians Nancy Ambrose King (oboe), Jeffrey Lyman (bassoon), and Amy I-lin Cheng (piano) as they bring elegance, warmth, and playful artistry to the stage. The program journeys from the lyrical charm of Robert Planel’s Andante et Scherzo to the classical brilliance of Mozart’s beloved “Kegelstatt” Trio. Audience members will also be treated to the rhythmic flair of Miguel del Aguila’s Tango Trio and the expressive depth of André Previn’s Trio for Piano, Oboe, and Bassoon. Together, these works highlight the ensemble’s virtuosity and versatility, promising an evocative and dynamic evening of wind chamber music.
