To help students transition back to in-person instruction this fall at Eastern Michigan University, school officials are in the process of rolling out a #EMU Safesignage campaign.
The signage, that will feature messages like "Cover Up" and "Six Feet," will be posted around campus to remind students, faculty, and staff to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. EMU Spokesperson Geoff Larcomsays safety will be a top priority this fall on campus, so hand sanitizer stations will also be installed.
Geoff Larcom: And this is important that they be highly visible and this is to encourage ongoing disinfecting. So, hand sanitizer spaces will be available in buildings, entrances, residence halls, classrooms, and other areas.
As of now, the university plans to offer a mix of online and in-person instruction in the fall.
