A night of storytelling focusing on the experiences of aging is taking place online offering six different stories expected to inspire and move those participating.   Artistic director of the event Breeda Miller describes them as "ordinary experiences told in an extraordinary way that can help people see things in a different way and inspire them to see their own stories in a different light as well."

Organizers say "Big Hearted Stories: Experiences of Aging" is an event for people of all ages, adding, "You will laugh.  You will cheer.  You may even weep a little, but you will definitely enjoy our storytellers and their heartfelt stories."

And best of all, you will have the greatest seat in the house – right from your own home.  For the continued safety of everyone, this year, the event is going virtual.  The professional storytelling event will be live hosted by Vic Strecher, PhD, author of the bestselling book “Life On Purpose - How Living For What Matters Most Changes Everything.”

This fundraiser is brought to you by Big Hearts for Seniors (BHS).  BHS is a collaboration of five community-supported organizations who serve older adults in our community: Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels, Housing Bureau for Seniors, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Silver Club Memory Programs, and the Turner Senior Wellness Program.  Even in these times of great uncertainty, all five programs are continuing to provide critical support and assistance to every population in our community.

It's taking place July 30th at 7 PM.
