A petition drive is underway in Augusta Township to have voters decide the fate of the proposed $1 billion data center. They want to overturn the Board of Trustees’ decision to approve its rezoning. WEMU’s Kevin Meerschaert reports.

The Augusta Township Board of Trustees has given first reading approval to a rezoning that could eventually lead to a controversial data center to be built. But as WEMU’s Kevin Meerschaert reports, there is still a long way to go before construction can start.
