Ypsilanti officials announced the retirement of City Manager Ralph Lange, effective August 5.
Lange has been City Manager since 2012. In a statement, Mayor Amanda Edmonds said the City Council was grateful for Lange’s work and for guiding the city through a tough financial period. Lange’s retirement will take effect August 5.
Ypsilanti City Clerk Frances McMullan will serve as Interim City Manager until a replacement is hired.
