The Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Regional Chamber says customer confidence will be essential for businesses when the State of Michigan lifts its COVID-19 indoor dining ban on December 21st.
Chamber President Diane Keller says consumers will need to know that restaurants and bars are following the latest COVID-19 guidelines to help keep them safe. Keller says many local business owners have launched marketing campaigns on their websites and social media platforms informing consumers about the safety measures they’ve implemented. She adds that the chamber is offering informational webinars to its members to help them prepare to reopen.

Keller says curbside pick-up service will continue to be essential for businesses, even after indoor dining is allowed, in order to cater to customers who don’t feel comfortable being around others during the pandemic.
