EMU Launches New COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics For Students, Staff

Eastern Michigan University

Eastern Michigan University is ramping up its efforts to get students and staff vaccinated against COVID-19.

It’s holding a series of vaccination clinics on campus this week in partnership with the Washtenaw County Health Department.

EMU Spokesman Geoff Larcom says they’re going to administer a total of 2,000 doses over a period of four days.

“The vaccine being administered is the one-dose Johnson and Johnson, and that means you will not need to return for a second shot,” Larcom says.

Larcom says those wishing to get vaccinated must be an EMU student or employee and will need to register ahead of time at theuniversity’s website.
