The drive-thru and walk-up testing will take place at the former Whitmore Lake Middle School on Main Street from noon to 6 pm.  Susan Cernigliais a spokesperson for the health department and says the test is performed using a nasal swab sample, and results will be available in about a week.

Susan Cerniglia: Testing is really important. We still have COVID circulating in our communities and that broad testing helps us understand how many people are truly impacted.

Over 1,500 people have tested positive so far for COVID-19 in Washtenaw County since March.  Saturday’s tests are available to individuals with or without COVID-19 symptoms.
