Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued an extension to her stay-at-home order through May 15th. While Washtenaw County has seen the overall number of confirmed COVID-19 cases stabilize, more people going to work and recreating could bring a second wave. WEMU's David Fair and Washtenaw County Health Department spokesperson Susan Cerniglia discussed all of the work underway to treat the moment and the planning to be prepared to treat the future.
