The U.S. House voted Thursday to approve a measure that would eliminate many of the provisions of the Affordable Care Act.  The vote was 217-213.  Many questions are left to be answered about what the impact will be to residents of Southeastern Michigan.  We spoke with 12th District Congresswoman Debbie Dingell - who voted “No” on the bill.

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich canceled an in-person campaign stop this morning in Ann Arbor after having problems with his plane in New York.  Instead, he called in.

Donald Trump made a campaign appearance in Grand Rapids Monday night. He says he would threaten manufacturers with big tariffs on imports to discourage them from building plants across the border and overseas.  Trump specifically called out Ford, which is planning a new plant in Mexico.   We have more from Rick Pluta.
