Preparations are underway in Ypsilanti Township, in advance of a visit Wednesday by President Donald Trump.
President Trump is expected to talk about jobs--specifically automotive jobs--when he visits the American Center for Mobility at Willow Run in Ypsilanti Township.
The President is also expected to meet with auto executives and union officials and hold a rally. President Trump is also expected to talk about rolling back fuel economy and emissions standards, which his press secretary Sean Spicer referred to as "burdensome regulations that needlessly hinder jobs growth."
Willow Run is being developed as the location for the autonomous and connected vehicle testing facility run by the American Center for Mobility.
He is scheduled to be at the site in the early afternoon Wednesday. A peaceful protest is also being planned for President Trump's Michigan visit.
