Yes, Ann Improv Festival is Ann Arbor’s newest summer cultural event, bringing four days of improv comedy, headliner shows, showcase performances, workshops, afterparties, and community events to hear.say brewing + theater and the Michigan Theater.
The inaugural festival features nationally recognized performers from Dropout, Smosh, Upright Citizens Brigade, television, film, podcasts, and comedy stages across the country, alongside more than 50 improv teams from 12 states. Audiences can catch headline performances, discover local favorites, see visiting teams from around the country, and experience a full festival weekend built around unscripted comedy and creative community.

Free! Field Day, an amateur radio event that takes place on the last full weekend of June every year, is an emergency communications exercise, public outreach event, and social event all rolled into one. Hams operate round-the-clock from tents and RVs using emergency power supplied by gas generators, solar panels, and batteries. You are invited to watch, join in, and get on the air!The event officially starts Saturday June 27th @ 2:00pm EDT, lasting for 24 hours, ending on Sunday June 28th at 2:00pm EDT.

The first teach-in. Lawsuits. Nazi resistance. U-M has long been home to activism, and this walking tour will visit historically significant locations where you will learn about protests on campus. We will cover women’s activism, the legacy of the Treaty of Fort Meigs, the Black Action Movement, anti-Vietnam War activism, and more.
Guided walking tour led by student docents. Duration: 1.25 hours; 1.25 miles.
