Veterans Memorial Park

There is community concern following a number of sledding crashes at Veterans Park in Ann Arbor. Some of the injuries were serious. We hear from WEMU's Ana Longoria about the incidents being attributed to a ramp constructed at the base of the sledding hill.

The South-Central Michigan chapter of Veterans for Peace will honor Michigan soldiers lost in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars in Ann Arbor on Veterans Day. Each fallen solder will be memorialized with a marker on Saturday, November 11th in Veterans Park. WEMU’s Taylor Bowie has more.
