The WEMU newsroom today picked up some community chatter that indicated there may be changes coming to the Ypsilanti Police Department. The word was, later this month, Ypsilanti police would stop patrolling between 2 AM and 6 AM, and the Michigan State Police would respond to emergencies during those hours.
